Chunky Chicken is a fast-growing fast food service concept that offers delivery, take out and dine-in. We tailor the size of the store to the market it will cater for. We have uncompromising service standards that require on-going training, a financial reporting system that each franchisee has to adhere to and we provide all equipment and interior design specifications that each store has to conform to. We also require you to purchase food and minor operating equipment and material through our nominated suppliers. This is important to safeguard quality and to conform to our operating standards.
We are good listeners and we encourage a dialogue from day one when you join us. TRAINING
You and your senior team will be required to attend 12 to 16 weeks training at our training center or selected outlets. Training is not a one off at Chunky Chicken. It is a way of life and the only way you will be able to consistently deliver a high quality of service and indeed fantastic food.
The training will include:
- Practical food preparation
- Food hygiene and safety
- Ordering and inventory control
- Practical work at a store
- First Aid
- Train the Trainer and Customer Service
- Business principals
- Financial reporting
SUPPORT
The Chunky Chicken team at Head Office will provide you with support throughout your journey with us. It starts from the pre-opening stages, during the opening of your store and beyond.
When a new Chunky Chicken is set to open, our support team will be there to “hold your hand”. We will help you manage the business activities for the first crucial days post opening. We will be very much hands on in the early days, gradually stepping back and letting you, the Franchisee take complete control as you become more confident, professional and experienced.
We will assist you in marketing and promoting your store. Some marketing activities will be organized centrally for the brand and others you must initiate yourself as you will know your local market best. We will provide you with the Chunky Chicken Marketing Guidelines.
We are passionate about quality and therefore do not be surprised when your store is visited by our Mystery Shoppers. We do this to ensure that our quality standards in term of service and food are met or exceeded. We provide you with the feedback from each Mystery Shopper occasion.
We hold regular franchisee meetings where management and the franchisee discuss operational issues, share best practice and other factors affecting the business. We also perform regular store inspections, reviewing standards and performance.
